NASCAR Settles Racial Discrimination Suit for $225 Million

A former official who sued NASCAR alleging racial discrimination and sexual harassment will receive a settlement of $225 million from the organization.

Mauricia Grant worked as a technical inspector responsible for certifying cars in NASCAR's second tier Nationwide Series from January 2005 to October 2007. Internal investigations into her claims resulted in the firing of 2 officials.
