Estate of Seth Tobias: $25 million estate to be split as part of settlement.

Palm Beach, FL: (June-16-08) A settlement has been reached between Filomena Tobias, widow of frequent CNBC commentator Seth Tobias, and the hedge fund mogul’s brothers, Samuel and Spence Tobias. The settlement, which still needs approval from a Palm Beach County court, will divide the $25 million estate between the brothers and the widow. While the Florida attorney's office found no evidence of any wrongdoing, the brothers claim Tobias was drugged and lured into their Jupiter home’s pool by his wife. The settlement will also include the retraction of allegations made by the Tobias family about the circumstances surrounding the death.
