BMW Settles E46 3-Series Subframe Lawsuit
A class action filed against BMW, the German luxury automaker, in 2006 has been settled, with BMW agreeing to begin inspections and repairs of potentially faulty subframes in its fourth-generation 3-series models, specifically the E46.
Currently the settlement is only valid for US residents, and no recall is planned. Details of the settlement will be made public upon court approval of the settlement.
