Physicians across the US are complaining that health insurance companies are mandating which medications they can prescribe, which effectively mandates the decision-making process. Some doctors have reported being bullied by insurance companies, forcing them to prescribe generic medications to patients, because of the costs. The insurance companies are being accused of practicing medicine without a licence.
