Bristol-Myers Gets Preliminary Approval of $125 Million Plavix Settlement
A settlement of $125 million has been preliminarily approved in the shareholder lawsuit against Bristol-Myers Squibb. The suit involves allegations that the pharmaceutical company failed to disclose side deals it made with Apotex regarding the sale of the company's blockbuster drug Plavix.
A final hearing for settlement approval is set for December 8, 2009.
