$3.2 Million Settlement Approved for Santa Cruz Strip Search Class Action
A federal judge has approved a settlement for $3.2 million in class action settlement alleging that the plaintiffs were illegally strip-searched between February 25, 2006, and August 26, 2008 at the Santa Cruz County Jail.
More than 550 plaintiffs could be eligible to share the settlement, receiving anywhere from $15 to $9250 per person, depending on the circumstances.
