I'm quite distressed lately. BFF and I have been having some problems. Nothing outwardly stated, but...I feel like something is off, and I'm rather concerned. Granted, she's had a difficult few months, and Lord knows I've had a difficult 2007 overall, but does that mean that a friendship will suffer when both people are having a rough patch? I know that I should address the problem with her, but it's just a conversation that I am dreading having...

Wow I can't believe it's been over three months since I posted anything here!! I'm not quite sure I even have any readers anymore!!Well, what can I say - I worked all summer long, was slightly stressed out, definitely busy, and now am back at school for my last year of law school - woo hoo!If there's anyone out there still reading...

I've learned to appreciate the finer things in life. I even travel with my own wine. You never know the quality you may encounter at a soiree.

My newest obsession? Vera Bradley stuff. I never heard of this lady's stuff until just a little ago. Now, I'm seeing these cute little bags everywhere I go. Apparently they're all the rage! They are SO fun, and SO cheap! I went to a trunk sale today of these bags, and came home fully stocked up...

I just discovered what might be one of the most fabulous blogs ever: Stuck in the '80s. What, you don't agree? Well, phooey. See, I am a big fan of everything '80s. I grew up during the '80s. When I was 8 and I was watching John Hughes films, I couldn't wait to grow up and be a cool teenager like the ones in the movies, and have life experiences like the ones in Sixteen Candles and The Breakfast Club...

This past weekend was the Law School Prom; and what a prom it was! First of all, my dress was absolutely fabu, if I don't say so myself. It was just perfect, and I was in love with it. Everyone looked so nice, and it was super fun to see everyone just having a good time...

This article just pissed me off in the worst way - South Carolina is apparently trying to pass this ridiculous bill that would make a woman trying to get an abortion LOOK AT AN ULTRASOUND FIRST. Give me a break!! You know, for most women, making that decision is not something that is taken lightly...

I think that I am in the midst of making a major life decision. I think...I may have decided...to become a vegetarian.Anyone who reads this blog knows I am a pretty big animal-lover and animal-advocate. As a matter of fact, my dream job would be to do legal work for animal rights groups; but, alas, I need money first, so that dream will have to be put on the back burner for a while...

Days like today, I want to pack up and move to Hawaii. Yesterday wasn't too bad because school was canceled, so I didn't have to brave the elements whatsoever. Except to shovel the front walk, but that was good exercise more than anything; but today, I had to go to class and go to work, in the midst of piles of dirty snow turned nice...

Although it has not been THAT long, it has felt like an eternity to me; but things seem to be picking up around here, and I am hoping and hopeful that they will continue to look up. Did you ever go through a bad patch that was so bad that you weren't sure you were ever going to come out on the other side of it? I guess that's where I am about now, unfortunately. It's been quite some time, too, since I've seen days this dark and gloomy...

The place I am working at this semester is, to say the very least, an experience. Let's for the sake of discussion here, call it Twilight Zone. At Twilight Zone there exists the motliest of crews. First of all, everyone is very, very polite. Everyone also speaks to each other in very politically correct tones of voice, and using carefully chosen words...

Well, I guess it was bound to happen. It appears that someone has decided to start leaving hateful comments on my blog. Hateful and insulting. Now, I fully understand that a blog is a forum where my opinions are posted out there for all to read. I expect that not everyone will always agree with what I have to say, and I encourage comments to be left on my blog, as evidenced by my comments link, because I enjoy gaining insight in what the rest of the world might think about topics that interest me...

It's pretty dick when your winter break isn't over yet, but there is a plethora of reading assignments posted on the school's website. You know, I'm still relaxing. I'm still enjoying my time. Why do I have to do pre-semester schoolwork?? I mean, I guess I could not do it; but that would not be a good way to start off the semester...
