I live in Virginia and recently submitted my 2 weeks notice with my current employer, after the first week, my employer terminated my employment. Was I fired? Does an employer have an obligation to honor my 2 weeks notice? Do I have any recourse to force my now former employer to pay for the remainder of time and holidays I am entitled to?
