I was a bookkeeper for a recreation center. The Center Director left and a new director took over. I went to work one day and some of my files were missing. I called our computer tech and her restored the files (I had made a backup). I found out that this new director entered my office in the middle of the night and deleted some of my accounts payable records. I went to her supervisor and was told that "she had the right to look at documents on my computer" and that "she didn't mean to delete the files". Two months later I was "laid off" and was told the reason was reduction in force. Was a crime committed?
