Can i sue my employer for trying to force me to quit?

I've been with a professional sports team for the past few years working in ticket sales, and my manager and COO have repeateldy met pulled me aside to advise me to leave the company, even though I consistantly meet my sales goals. I've spoken to a my former manager at the team about the situation and he mentioned that teh COO asked him to fire me as well, simply because he doesn't like me. Is it legale for them to make my work environment uneasy because they do not want me there?
