How do I get a landlord to remove a false credit report when he allowed me to break lease due to disability?
I am disabled. I had a verbal discussion with my landlord about my disability. Since there were no downstairs apt available, she agreed to let me out of the lease due to my disability one month before the lease was up. I sent her a letter confirming our conversation. When I found new housing several months later I asked for and received a letter from the landlord stating that no rent was owed. Yet, I have 3,000 bill on my credit from her. What can I do to take care of this?
