Divorce in the Philippines between a national and a foreigner?

My husband is french and we had our civil wedding here in the Philippines. Only after 6months we decided to separate. He wants to process the divorce procedure in france now while i am here in the philippines. If the divorce in france gets approved, will i also have the same 'divorced' status as my husband or would i still have to go through the annulment procedure here in the Philippines? I also want to make sure that if in the case that I still have to process annulment, it wont affect my request for nullity in any negative way otherwise, he will be free and i wont be.
