I have a question regarding landlord/tenant. The landlord refused or said a 30 day written notice was NOT necessary (he stated verbal was okay)..but it WAS in the original move in contract. Then 3 weeks after move out he claimed he wanted a notice. Under the law, the landlord has 14 days to send an itemized list and refund to the tenant or else he forfeits the deposit. SO, would the date be the verbal notice or the actual written notice that was given??
