Stacy Schneider offers to be Britney Spears Lawyer for Free

Divorce lawyer and former "The Apprentice" contestant Stacy Schneider told Page Six she's willing to take over as Britney Spears' legal counsel - free of charge. Spears' current lawyers at Trope & Trope have petitioned the court to sever ties with the untamable poptart.

Spears, who was admitted to a hospital in Los Angeles early Friday morning after locking herself in her home and having a psychotic breakdown, could certainly use the help. Schneider claims she would even "move into Britney's house" to help her get control of her life and win her kids back.

"I hope my offer to represent her at no charge is communicated to her, even in the hospital," said Schneider, who also authored "He Had It Coming: How to Outsmart your Husband and Win your Divorce."

Stacy Schneider has plenty of plans for the out-of-control singer, who just lost permanent custody of sons Jayden James and Sean Preston to ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Schneider's first rule for Britney? Stay home.

"Number one, I would tell Britney to hibernate. She'll no longer be airing her personal business in public. She needs to stay inside and stop the Starbucks runs so that no more bad-behavior stories leak out. If have to move with her and stay in and order Netflix with her so she doesn't go out, I will," Schneider vowed.

Stacy Schneider's second recommendation is for Spears to shut up. "Britney has to stop mouthing off to the judge," said Schneider. "She has to learn to control her emotions."

Finally, if Spears is even able to show up in court, "She has to practice her testimony," said Stacy Schneider. "She only has one shot to win her kids back and she's not able to lip-synch her way through her testimony. What Britney's doing now is showing everyone that she's irresponsible or just doesn't care."

Stacy Schneider also wants to hit back at K-Fed's press-loving lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan.

"I would go on the attack on him. What Kaplan has done is paint Kevin as father of the year. I will mess up that picture and show Kevin as the loser of the year . . . I guarantee there's something out there that shows him as a bad parent . . . a leopard doesn't change his spots."
