Can Apple Survive Without Steve Job?

Infoworld has a very interesting article today about whether Apple can survive without Steve Jobs. If you’ve seen recent pics of Jobs, you can’t help but see how gaunt and thin he looks. Speculation about his health was addressed when he made a recent statement that it was a result of a hormone imbalance issue (and not a recurrence of pancreatic cancer).  Worries expressed in the article include the lack of a clear-cut succession plan - no matter what, he won’t be around forever. While they point out that Apple will go on without Jobs and that there is a strong management team in place, uncertainty still abounds. Just look at the effect on Macworld this week of not having Jobs give his traditional keynote . . . it cast a pallor or boredom over the entire event.
