Obama-Wright Part 1: Obama Doesn't Go to Church

By wt

ADVERTISEMENTS
As most everyone knows by now, Barack Obama's former minister, Jeremiah Wright, asked God to "damn America," claimed that the CIA invented the HIV virus, and that Obama is representative of blacks because he isn't privileged.

I think the last two statements are clearly false. The first one is obviously problematic since Obama wants to lead America, rather than ask God to damn it.

So it makes sense that Obama would distance himself from his minister:

The statements that Rev. Wright made that are the cause of this controversy were not statements I personally heard him preach while I sat in the pews of Trinity or heard him utter in private conversation.

Interesting. So you claim to be a member of the church for 20 years. And you speak to him before making any bold political moves. And they have him on several occasions offering pretty controversial sermons.

And you never heard any of it? Really?

Just how little did Barack Obama attend church?
