: ACS BlogDOJ Criminal Division Chief Resigns
The chief of the Justice Department’s criminal division, Alice Fisher, announced she will leave the government on May 23, after three years of service. After her departure, only three division chiefs will have been confirmed by the Senate. Fisher’s nomination had been criticized, according to the Blog of the Legal Times, because she had never tried a case and had no experience as a federal prosecutor.
Resources on the role of the Department of Justice are available here.
