Voter ID Upheld

Yesterday the U.S. Supreme Court upheld an Indiana statute that requires voters to show government-issued identification at polling places. Whether the controversial decision in Crawford v. Marion County Board, 553 US __ (2008) will end up disenfranchising otherwise eligible voters who do not possess government-issued ID -- such as poor, elderly and disabled individuals -- will be quickly tested in next week's presidential primary in Indiana...
