Whereas the Obama campaign has been successful in obtaining financing from now over 1 million donors at the grassroots level of the American people, Hillary Clinton's campaign has survived thus far only with the help of groups such as Emily's List which was formed for the express purpose of electing pro-choice American women to public office.
