ADVERTISEMENTS
I apologize profusely for the long, long hiatus from the blog. Somehow The Move morphed into THE MOVE and my computer was tucked away and then when I found it (Surprise!!) I had no home internet. That situation was remedied moments ago and now I have super crazy oh my goodness fast internet that takes my breath away. LITERALLY. It seems we left off here with The Move and the Blog Giveaway and so I'd like to formally announce that Sara, you are the proud winner of my PMBR lecture cd's, with your comment of:
I'm having a hard time writing so much! I've never spent so many hours writing before, my thumb is on strike :(
BISMOW randomly selected your entry so email me at legallyblondeambition AT gmail DOT com and I'd be happy to mail them to you. As soon as I find them. I'm reasonably certain I know where they are in The Abyss of Things Which Have No Home (some might call it a second bedroom but I much prefer my "special" name for it) and I'll get them your way asap!
I could talk about the move, about all the hauling and sweating and bruises, the lack of air conditioning on one end, the lack of an elevator permit and thus a working elevator on the other, and a fair amount of "Did you seriously pay for this?" said with disdain and directed at an object owned by the significant other (it went both ways let me assure you, SOMEONE doesn't care for my lovely framed sketch of a Victorian era lady, fully clothed of course) and of course the carrying of the heavy things. And the thought of "How much would it cost for us to pay someone to carry this" sometimes thought out loud, through gritted teeth, and often said when carrying a box that probably contained every law textbook BISMOW or I ever used. Ever. In the history of the world.
But I won't bore you with the details of the move and the heavy boxes other than to say WHEW. We are in. Photos to follow.
