9/11 turns L.A. lawyer into war crimes expert

Barbara_mulvaney KPCC Public Radio did a short interview with former Los Angeles deputy district attorney Barbara Mulvaney yesterday about her move from prosecuting white collar crimes in L.A. to Rwandan military leaders accused of war crimes (LISTEN, Read Transcript).

Mulvaney decided to leave the DA's office and join the United Nations' International Crime Tribunal for Rwanda after the attacks in the U.S. on September 11, 2001. Mulvaney also spoke with KPCC about her experience two years ago (LISTEN).
