3 papers + 1 final trial = 0 sleep for the next month

I don't know why I thought it would be smart to take no exam classes and all paper/trial classes. I have 3 20+ page papers due and a final trial due within the next month. Even though the 2L Ass had me all fired up and motivated yesterday, that motivation didn't last through the night. Today I'm back to my normal, don't give a crap 3L self. Maybe when I have that seminar again tomorrow the 2L will find something else to say to piss me off enough to motivate me again, which at this point would probably be a good thing.

Speaking of the 2L Ass, word got around school pretty quick about what he said, apparently I wasn't the only one in the class who overheard him. A friend of mine, also a 3L in that seminar class, heard him telling basically the same story I overheard while he was standing in line behind my friend at Subway. What is totally disgusting about that is that he arguably had no idea that any of his classmates were around yesterday when I overheard the story (thanks to the high backed chairs that allow for great hiding). But he was bold enough to re-tell the story, loud enough to be overheard, right in front of another classmate, who I can only assume he saw since they were standing in line right near each other waiting for sandwiches. Totally disgusting. My friend did apparently tell the guy to shut that it probably wasn't wise to brag about something like that in front of most of the law school, but apparently Mr. 2L Ass didn't care.

But I digress back to the original topic: I apparently won't be sleeping much this next month. I've thought a lot about the 3 papers that I have to write, but I have nothing written, nothing outlined and frankly very little research. Hence most of my work so far has consisted of staring at my computer screen hoping the papers will just magically write themselves. If anyone has any good ideas for a paper topic in Election Law let me know, cause right now I'm at a total loss!
