Yay Sleep! That's where I'm a Viking!

ADVERTISEMENTS
I woke up before my alarm. I was lying under the blankets trying to keep warm as the heat in my apartment doesn't come on until I turn it on and I'd rather wake up a little cold than way too hot. This however, makes it a little more difficult to get out of a nice warm bed.

I decided I wasn't ready to get up. I curled up under the blankets and tried to steal all the warmth I could. In my sleep induced haze I thought about how nice it was to be able to stay in bed now that I was done exams. ya. . . . . hey. . . . wait. hmmm, I think I might still have one more left. The haze was clearing up. I didn't want it to. But unfortunately I could now clearly remember staying up until 230am just a few hours earlier to prepare for my final exam today. It's criminal law. I don't particularily like criminal law. In fact, this will be my final criminal law course and I don't ever really intend to practice it. As a result, I was feeling very little motivation after writing 4 exams, but combined with that lack of motivation, I was also feeling really screwed.

I'm feeling a little better now. The late night study session was quite productive, although after I started fading at around 2ish, I decided to head to bed, only to have to get up this morning and do a fair amount of work. My stomach has not been impressed with the caffeine and lack of sleep. Last one. ugh. I will sleep after.
