There's one thing that lawyers and politicians have in common. They are both some of the dumbest spenders on marketing ever. (Proof--election time here--why place 40 signs per square foot on a highway median?)

Its not that the spending is dumb, per se.. Its that there is no well-thought out multistep, multi-media marketing campaign to back up the spend.
