How to prove housing discrimination based on sexual orientation in student housing?

While attending college as an open gay student, I lived in a privately-owned dormatory (apartment complex) not affiliated with the college. I was verbally threatened by a lover at apartment and had to have the police order him to stay off the property. The owner of the dorms told me that if I wanted to move, he would let me out of my lease. A few nights later, I was doing laundry and the owner of the dorms stopped me, and asked why I wasn't gone. He told me that he said I had to leave which he did not. I asked him what had I done to get evicted. He said I violated my lease by having the cops involved. The lease makes no mention of such consequences for having to call the police. Then he said they guiy was wrong for coming up to my room and starting trouble, but he would've done the same thing if someone had said he was gay, so he could understand why he did it. Then he started cursing me out, and told me if I wasn't out by the end of the week he would lchange my lock everyday so I would have to get a new key everyday from him, and he also said he would lock my personal belongings up and I wouldn't be able to get them until I took him to court. To me this seems that he evicted me because of my sexuality. I had to drop out of school because I couldn't afford any other housing in the area and I had no transportation to get to schooll.
