How to place husband or wife's name on deed after mortgage closed?
We refinanced our mortgage and took out a 2nd mortgage at the same time. Before signing I asked about school taxes and I also wanted my husbands name on the deed since he is not on the mortgage. The mortgage company guaranteed me that everything was taken care of, so I signed the papers. I have since learned that none of this was taken care of and that the mortgage company lied to me to get me to sign. Is there anything that I can do?
