Shoplifting
I am from MN and have had charges of shoplifting and i believe one was called Theft, all have been under $50. I didn't have a problem my whole life unto I suffered from an EatingDisorder which had mental and emotional and medical issues that even would cause me to do such a stupid thing. Is there anyway to get these expunged in MN and can i get fired from my current job if they do a background check, I work in a CO where there is government contracts and GSA is requesting background checks I have worked there for over 6.5 years. I am also wanting to seek employment elsewhere but am so very discouraged in that I feel that no one will hire me or don't know where to do to get help in seeking employment for someone that assists with someone in my situation. I have tried to do voulnteer work and have learned from my choices, but I feel as much as my desire and effort on doing the right and making the right choices now has doomed me a life of hopelessness and no chances of employment and that scares me because of finances, and a hope for a future. Please any advice or resources to go to in MN.
