If a 16 year girl is asked to have three way sex by a 28 year women who is her manager at work is this a legal offense?

The 28 year old woman asked her mother to give her a ride home from work, and also if she could come over to stay overnight at her house with her. She is married with a 4 year old child. The 16 year girls' mother said none of the would be necessary. The 28 year old also bought the 16 year old a cell phone and then said don't bother to send a nude picture to her husband it would not be necessary. She had also said that her husband would like to take the girl shopping because he liked red heads. The girls mother went to her plaqce of work and paid the girl for the phone and any other expenses, told her never to speak or contact her again, and reported it to the store manager. When the store manager called the young girl into the office to file harrassment papers this is when she said about the 3 way sex. Later that night she told her mom. The 28 year old was fired. Should the mother pursue any legal charges.
The 16 year old is adamant that she not do this because the woman is not at the store anymore?
