If a person defames me and threatens me to pay a bill that they made and it is posted to others besides myself, can I sue ?


I sold a home thru a realitor to another party. I did not advertice central air. I checked the box on discloture papers no. on the intent to purchase papers it was checked no and the buying party and their realitor read and signed them. They also hired a prof. inspec . 7 months later I along with 3 other parties were sent an email, calling me dishonest and fraudulent. and demanded money, also later ,in the same manner demanding lawyer fee,s . If I did not make this person satisified, the said they had alot of important frinds and a web site and would basically trash me. I have the printouts from the posts and have them also saved.
