Can I be billed for a hospital bill that occured when i was a minor?

In 2003, I was 17 and was in a car accident. I had tricare insurance through my father and he covered all expenses that were not covered by my insurance. He never recieved a bill for the date of service. When I turned 18 this $208.00 showed up on my credit report and the hospital is telling me that I am responcible for the debit. So what I'm wanting to know is if they can legally charge me for this bill that occurred when I was a minor.
