Can my Healthcare provider subrogate my entire settlement leaving me with costs?
I was a victim of an injury and did not sue the responsible party, rather I took their insurance settlement of 25k. Ingenix wants 24.9k leaving me with remaining medical bills of 1.2k and no recovery for lost wages and pain and suffering. I have the joint check but have not signed it and sent it to them. I want half of this check, but they insist on full recovery of their costs and I have losses and cost not recovered, yet I paid premiums for them to be there for me when I am injured.
