Enter your questionAlaska's new law states that any parent who causes domestic violence against the other parent or child is not allowed custody. Does Florida have that same law?

My ex-husband was very abuse to me and in the presence of our daughter. His abuse caused me to lose two unborn babies: one single pregnancy and a set of twins. He is now abusive to our daughter and as a result, our daughter has attempted suicide. After having an affair with a high school minor and forcing our daughter to sleep with him while he slept in the nude he forced our daughter to lie to the Child Services in order to gain custody. They currently fight with him calling her names and verbally abusing her but no one is listening to her cries even when she has had cigarette burns, black eye and facial bruises. He is White and I am a Black Puerto Rican. He does live in a very prodominantly white upper middle class neighborhood with friends who work for the sheriff's office.
