Workplace Law:Is there anything I can do about having my hours cut, being suspended, and losing my position ?

I was termed "insubordinate" because I got upset when asked to falsify documents at work.I was suspended without pay, had my hours indefinatly cut to 32 hrs per week, and lost my position and was moved to another dept. I work for an electroplating company. The customers purchase order specified a minimal thickness of plating, as well as required being plated to a military specification. The parts were underplated, and I was told to manipulate the Xray readings that are sent to the customer, so that they would appear to have sufficient plating.
