Can I get sent to jail or lose everything I own?


Bill collectors are really after me: mail, calls. I get bad panic attacks and run. If they file a lawsuit, what happens if I don't show up at court. Can they take all my stuff and sell it?I live on SSI and have numerous health problems. My Daughter lives with me and is going through a kidney disease. On $637.00 a month and foodstamps, that doesn't leave me much to live on, let alone pay all my debtors. I was homeless for 7-8 months a year ago and used my credit cards. Now I'm in trouble. Can they come to my hose? I'm scared!!
