Can damages be sort against a business for intentionally / repeatedly lying about another business's product and reputation

Known representatives of say company "A" and several of its distributors have conspired to engage on a popular web based open Q&A forum as non-biased, independent contributors of "subject authority". They do so under a variety of alias's and pseudonyms and whose sole purpose is to intentionally lie and mis-characterize a superior but new competing product as well as defaming the reputation of say company "B" to the point of known lost sales. Whereas company "B" is in possession of documented proof of the actions of company "A" and its distributors.
