How to get compensated for or compel redmiation iwhen government action renders private land useless?
What can I do to either get to use my land or get compensated for the fact that Monroe County has effectively made the land useless. I am left with two lots I can't sell or use. I do not have the money to fight the county or state in court nor do I live in Florida making any legal action difficult. Do you know of any administrative remedy I could pursue or actions I could take? (Mike Burt. I own two developed lots in Monroe County FL one on Big Pine Key, Alt Key # 1130435, the other on Surarloaf Key, Alt key # 1216925.)
