
Racial Discrimination in the workplace
I work for a company that is owned and operated by Spanish people. There is only 3 people in the whole company including me who are Caucasian. The female who is supposed to be training me is "latino" and treats me very rudely and acts as though I am stupid, and refuses to explain anything to me. She has never once sat down with me and taught me anything. She tells me to do something and tells me if I have any questions to come see her, which in every case I have questions because I haven't been taught to do what she is wanting me to do. she speaks spanish when I am around, and says things under her breath in Spanish as she leaves my desk. I have heard her on more than one occasion speaking about me to other employees, always in Spanish. I only know its about me because she says my name. This morning a latino girl was brought in for an interview, and I believe it is for my position, which makes me believe that I am going to be replaced by someone Spanish. The company knew when I started that I didnt speak Spanish and I was told this wouldnt be an issue, and now it is
