Did I harass someone?

I have been putting up comments in response to things being said by a girl on an internet profile. I got tired of her putting things directed towards me. I was really upset at some of the things she was telling me, and I shouldnt have responded!She was abused and since I had to testify in court against her husband, I have always tried to advocate for domestic violence victims by sharing the story about how she lied on the stand in order for her husband to be found innocent! She must have found out about me talking about it, so she put something up directed at me about being a priority in her life and that she loves her husband so on.. I responed that love is blind even to abuse. She further responed by saying that her profile is private so I dont stalk her. Well I was annoyed at what she was insiniuating because I have not been trying to contact her! I sent her one message that expressed my disdane for her. After that, it was the end of it. But when I read that to prove that she is not of importance to me and that she is not a perfect peach. I let her husband know that she cheated on him while he was deployed and that if he still abuses her then that is his business and that I dont have anything to do with it. I also included whatever else she had told me about what she didnt like about her husband. I told him that he didnt have to believe me but what I was telling him was the truth, and that if he wants anymore pictures of his wife and her boyfriend I would be happy to give them to him so that he knows who he is really dealing with. So a detective came looking for me today, and I initially thought that she got beat up by her husband and is going to make false claims against me because she had threatened to do that to me for the case I had to testify against him. But now realizing that the letter was not the most tasteful thing to write, Im afraid that it might be misconstrued as something more then it was really meant to be! I honestly just wanted her to stop trying to make me think that Im not allowed to talk about the case. I dont really care if she knows or not, and I dont really care if she is abused anymore or not... I just want my right to be able to talk about it. The thing is that I told her husand that if I was married to her that I would prob beat her up to because of how stupid she is! Mistake right??? Should I seek legal council before I try to contact the detective again?
