How can legally make my ex move out of the apartment that I lease?

I lease an apartment and I had a girlfriend who spent alot of time there. She owns her own home and has great credit so she helped me out and got the phone and utilities in her name, although she did not live with me. She did have a key. Even though we broke up, she moved all of her clothing into the apartment and won't leave. Upon multiple fights and calling of the police, I have tried to kick her out and the police have told me that I can't because she has utilities and mail in her name. We both have received domestic violence charges because of this. Now I'm living in a hotel, while she lives in the apartment that I pay rent for. What can I do to get her out of there?
