The use of a name on a web site or resume'

Hi, I am a breeder of show great danes and all my danes that I sell carry my kennel name. One of my offspring, from two of my own great danes has produced a puppy that I sold to another party and that puppy has now became a champion. I no longer speak to the owner of this dog, we had a major falling out a couple of months ago. But the dog she purchased from me is now a registered champion great dane with my kennel name as its prefix. Is it with in my right to use the name of this dog on my web site with out breaking any laws ? It is good for me that he is now a champion and I would like to use his name if possible. I would like to post on my web site that my two dogs produced champion such and such. But the lady threatened me that she is speaking with her attorney about this. Am I breaking any laws by only using his name on my web site ? Especially when my kennel name is in the dogs name title.

Thank you for your help!

Terrie
