Can the children of naturalized citizens apply for US Passports?
Our family went to the USA in 1971. By the 77 both my parents became US citizens, except for myself and my brother who were still green card aliens. Also they were divorced by 1979. We went to India and lost our green card status over the years. In 1991, I had again got a new green card but went back to India after 9 months. My mother is no more alive.
Recently, someone told me that I still can apply for a American passport as I am an american since my parents were citizens. Is this true?
