Is it possible to terminate a contract with a real estate brokerage?

My husband and I put our house up for sale last June with 3%realtor, Foxtons. Since June, our house has only been shown twice. They told us the market is bad. I've heard other brokerages blackball Foxtons because they undercut them. We moved to a fixer-upper in June and are now paying 2 mortgages. We have until the end of November to be released from Foxtons contract. They refuse to release us telling us that we have to reduce the price of our house. I told them we would NOT reduce it again. They know we are financially strapped and are using that to try to get us to reduce the price of our house! Isn't what they're doing illegal?
