March of the Blogs - California Personal Injury Blog

By Robert Kraft

ADVERTISEMENTS

For the month of March, I am going to highlight blogs that I think are interesting and useful. Some may not be directly related to personal injury or Social Security disability law, but all of us who represent injured and disabled people occasionally need help in other areas. A few have been featured here before, but they keep getting better. Today's entry in March of the Blogs:

My friend Jonathan Stein is a California lawyer who practices in a suburb of Sacramento. Jonathan began his blogging career with the California Personal Injury blog, and has since begun several other very helpful legal blogs (and has abandoned some that I liked, but that were just too much for his workload). As I write this, the California Personal Injury blog is down for technical reasons. It has not been abandoned though, so keep checking it.

In addition to the personal injury blog, Jonathan writes the California Debt blog. This one is filled with information for consumers who are being harasses by debt collectors.

And besides the blogs, Jonathan hosts two legal marketing listservs. One is open to all lawyers, and can be joined at Yahoo Groups. I very highly recommend it.

Here is Jonathan in his own words:

I began working at Prudential Insurance after graduating from CSU-Sacramento with a degree in Economics. During his time at Prudential, I began my CPCU studies. The CPCU designation is the highest designation one can earn in property-casualty insurance. I then began law school while continuing to work as an adjuster at Crawford and Company, graduating with distinction from McGeorge School of Law. I started my legal career working for an insurance defense firm, but then decided that my calling was to represent injured people against the insurance companies. I know use my experience and knowledge to help you.

In addition, I am a regular contributor to insurance publications, including writing articles on adjuster training. I provide continuing education to other attorneys in dealing with insurance companies.
