By Anne Skove, Esq.

ADVERTISEMENTS

There are Cool Names (Ava, Salome), Best Exotic Baby Names: New, Historical, Ancient, Mystical (Arion, Elan), a Bible, Queer Baby Names, Irish and Japanese baby names, a wizard, and Great Books names (Atticus, Beckett, Esme).

Too bad there's not a baby name book for courthouses, too. One new federal courthouse in New York is nameless, thus far. Several relatives have come forth with suggestions: name it after its great-uncle Judge Jackson, or it's crazy cousin "WIld Bill" Donovan. We've heard that they won't let a courthouse have trials until it has a name.

See Courthouse Name Game Gains Intensity, Dan Herback, Buffalo News (Februrary 8, 2009).
