GPO Access to FDsys Navigation

By David

ADVERTISEMENTS

Most of us know that GPO Access is going away and the new Fdsys is coming in.  For anyone who hasn?t seen it in its transformative state, it is a work in progress. It is slated to be completed in April of this year with a with a full switchover to FDsys in Summer 2010. At that point, GPO access will be gone forever and reincarnated in this new format.

For advanced tips on using the new format, check out  Peggy Garvin?s article, The Government Domain – Congressional Documents on FDsys: Advanced Techniques. It is an informative look at using this new format at www.LLRX.com, (http://www.llrx.com/columns/govdomain44.htm),  For those of you who want the basics she wrote an earlier article, Congressional Documents on FDsys: The Basics, available at LLRX at (www.llrx.com/columns/govdomain41.htm)

Both of these are worth checking out if you are interested in the new Web Format and its operations with a little assistance rather than a steep learning curve on your own.  (Post-DEL)
