: PaperStreet Web Design: SpeakOutFacebook SEO for Lawyers
By Peter
You can now optimize a page in Facebook for higher rankings. Actually you have been able to do this for awhile (almost a year).
However, it looks like it is starting to trickle its way into the actual index and rankings. Thus, it could quantify as actual traffic to your profile page.
I came across this page today when doing some general searching:
http://www.facebook.com/miami.criminal.defense.lawyer
While it is only ranked #29 for that term (”Miami Criminal Lawyer”), it shows that it can be done and would probably rank higher for smaller areas. Miami criminal law is a very competitive phrase for attorneys in this area, so top rankings are hard to come by.
http://www.google.com/search?q=miami+criminal+attorney
Of course, if you setup a social network site on Facebook for your topic in a more niche area, you probably can use Facebooks overall rankings to get you a high search link to your page. Nice.
