: My So-Called Internet-Based Life

Yes, it's true.

ADVERTISEMENTS
The stuff in my previous post about my office?  Totally true.  Oh, and the law clerk is currently sitting in my office.  Did I mention that part?  That I am sitting up front and answering the phone while I am a licensed attorney, and that one of my classmates who failed the bar is clerking for the firm and sitting in MY OFFICE?  Right, that part.  That part chaps my ass like you would not believe.

The part that I didn't mention is that I have no clue why all of this is happening.

I think it's partly the office manager wanting to "punish" me for some unknown sins - being overweight?  Not kissing her ass enough?  I'm just... at a loss about her.  She is my actual boss' wife.  And a miserable bitch.

Then there is the fact that my actual boss is just flaky as shit - he is insanely busy with clients and probably doesn't even realize that I started over three months ago and have had no attorney training.  I have approached him about it, and he makes promises he can't keep because he is too busy.

I think I've given up trying to figure out the reasons behind it.  But I know that this is not how things should be.  I am not the one bringing the crazy to this situation, dammit.

I have an interview this week.  If it doesn't work out... I don't know what I am going to do.
