A day of firsts

ADVERTISEMENTS
Today was my first day of work. My first day as a non-law-student type grown-up. While I suppose it's not as traumatic as when I was 22 and had my first real job EVER, it was still kind of weird. This feels different than the four + years of work I did before I went to law school, somehow, and I don't really know why.

And by the way: I'm not in law school anymore! I don't have to go back to law school this year! I never have to take a law school final EVER AGAIN!

I probably won't talk very specifically about work because you can't really do that sort of thing, but I will try to share the amusing anecdotes. Like the guy this morning that called to ask how he could set up his business if he hypothetically might file for bankruptcy protection in a few years and might not want the business to be affected. Interesting.

My thoughts on that one:

1. We don't do that kind of work.
2. If you don't make it sound a bit less like you want to make a whole bunch of fraudulent transfers, no one else is going to want to do that work either.

I only told him about my first thought.
