Post Holiday Weekend Hangover

It was a fabulous 4 day weekend. I didn't open one book for school, I didn't think about one thing that needed to get done for a clinic case, I went skiing, I went shopping, I saw a musical, and I ate more food than should be humanly possible to consume.

Now it's Sunday night, Desperate Housewives is over and the realization that I have to go back to school tomorrow and try to get things in gear to wrap up clinic cases and study for finals just hit me like a ton of bricks. It's kind of like a hangover only worse. This hangover can't be nursed with a few gallons of water and some Advil, the only cure for this hangover is to finish the semester, and finishing the semester may require a few dozen more drinks (which of course would possibly lead to hangovers that can be cured with Advil).

I guess that means that starting tomorrow I will buckle down. Starting tomorrow I will actually cross things off of my to-do list and I will actually make progress with my studying. Starting tomorrow I'll try my best to not procrastinate, but as for the rest of today I think I'll grab some cookies and see what is on my Tivo just waiting to be watched :)
