McCain up by 1 in Colorado

Colorado's 9 electoral votes are going to be critical in November. The Democratic convention is in Denver, the Denver metro area is growing more and more liberal, and Obama is making a huge push for western states. Still, other than Denver (and Boulder), the rest of the state remains pretty conservative.

If McCain can pull off a victory here, it means he can win the election even if he loses New Mexico, Iowa, and Michigan, so long as he pulls in Florida and Ohio. Basically it's the Bush-Gore map except that New Hampshire can stay in blue territory.

Fortunately for McCain, he's ahead by 1 in Colorado in the latest poll.
